May 2022 - British Arts Awards Success!

It was so good to be back on stage! We had such a successful season with the below results secured at the London Finals of the British Arts:

June 2022

Eden Harris has graduated from the London Studio Centre.

After multiple lockdowns, Emma van Buuren completed her contract with TUI abroad as a member of the Entertainment Team.

December 2019


Jamie Cruttenden played Happy Harry in the professional pantomime Snow White at the Beck Theatre and Natasha Fleming was a dancer in the same show. 


Rebecca Lacey
 played Sarah in the production of Dear Santa at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre.


Laura Taylor
 (Miss Laura) moved to Paris! She is working with the Entertainment Team at Disney Land Paris. 


As always, we are so proud of all their achievements. 

Decemeber 2019- JI Xmas Party

What a fantastic time 63 of our pupils and their friends had at our Christmas Disco Party - lots of excitement with all the fun and games provided by Phil Cripps and his team. A big thank you to Christine Bassett for organising the event and we would also like to thank the parents for their support with their contributions and to Mrs. Corso for her beautifully decorated cup cakes. We can't wait until next year!

October 2019 | Born to Dance

What an incredible show week! All of or pupils performance so well and we had great audiences, every performance. We managed raise £4,001.85 to send to the Shooting Star Hospice to support the amazing work they do and we have also sent £500 to St. Richards church towards the repair of the church roof. Thanks to all the JI Team and 'JI Family' for their continued support and dedication to the school. 

Ashford Common Fete- June 2019

We were blessed with some good weather to-day when some of our pupils performed beautifully on the grass at the Ashford Common School Fete organised by Miss Hayley. We had a great team on the day with Miss Vicky, Miss Jade and our lovely parents to help on our stall. We were very proud of our pupils, many of whom will be performing at two more fetes on 27th and 28th June at Buckingham School and Staines upon Thames.

London Finals (May 2019)

We have had an incredible year- our best results yet. We had fantastic successes at the British Arts Awards Finals both at the Polish Theatre, Hammersmith and the Greenwood Theatre in London. We are so proud of all our students who took part both in solos, duets and groups. Every one of them performed brilliantly showing their pure joy of the occasion with sparkling smiles and personality and great teamwork. It is great also to see how all the girls support each other. Miss Jean was also awarded the top award of the night- the 'Leading Teacher Award'. Well done to Miss Jean and the team of talented Teachers that work tirelessly to support, develop and encourage our pupils.

Well Done Natasha!

After a very successful pantomime run in December 2018, Natasha Fleming auditioned in June for this years Christmas pantomime 'Sleeping Beauty' at the Beck Theatre. She was selected and will be joining the juvenile dance chorus. Well done & we wish you all the best with the rehearsals and performances later on this year.

March 2019 - AcroPad 

At the end of March, our acro pupils had a very exciting opportunity! They had an afternoon training with an instructor from AcroPad and were able to use their state of the art training equipment. We were so impressed with how hard you all worked and the progression we could see. We look forward to booking in another afternoon, soon. 

February 2019 - Panto 

During the February half-term break, many of our pupils were involved in the production of Aladdin by The Star Pantomime Group. Our very own Miss Hayley was Princess Jasmine and the choreography was done by Miss Hayley & Poppie. Well done to all our pupils that performed so well, with so much confidence. 

December 2018 - Panto

Two of our pupils were in 2018's Christmas pantomime runs:

Natasha Flemingwas in the chorus of the panto Peter Pan at the Beck Theatre andChloe Saunders was in the chorus of Robin Hood at the Hounslow Arts Centre.

July 2018 - Summer School

Organised by Miss Hayley and supported by Miss Amber, Miss Jade, Miss Poppy, Miss Laura, our JI Summer School pupils had a ball. The theme of this years Summer School was 'Carnival' and not only did they have a packed full schedule of learning new choreography & songs to put on their performance at the end of the week, they also went up to London to see the fabulous Aladdin musical. 

Arts Finals - May 2018

We had another year of incredible results at the Arts Awards this year at the London Finals. We are so very proud of all of our pupils that competed throughout this season- well done to each and every one of you (and of course, thank you to our talented team of teachers & supportive parents).

February 2018 
Snow White 


During the February half-term break, many of our pupils were involved in the production of Snow White by The Star Pantomime Group. Our very own Miss Hayley was Snow White and our Miss Poppie worked hard as dance choreographer for the production. Well done to all involved.

January 2018
Shooting Star Chase Donation

We finally received the invoice for the hire of the theatre and after deducting all expenses we were able to send a total of £3,005.04 to the Shooting Star Chase Hospice for children with life threatening illnesses. What a fantastic achievement. Thank you again to all of our fabulous pupils, teachers, families & friends for your support in making our first show at the Hammond Theatre, such a success.
